How to Remove All Transformations in OBJ in Blender

Oct 13, 2024

Hey everyone, do you want to know how to remove all transformations in OBJ files in Blender? Stick around as I show you the easy steps to do it. First, open your Blender software and import your OBJ file that you want to work with. Once your file is loaded, make sure it's selected and then press 'Tab' to enter Edit Mode. Now here comes the magic trick - press 'A' to select all the vertices of the object. With all the vertices selected, press 'Ctrl + A' and choose 'Apply All Transforms' from the dropdown menu. This will remove all the transformations including rotation, scaling, and location. After applying the transformations, press 'Tab' again to exit Edit Mode. Now your OBJ file is back to its original state with no transformations applied. That's it! You've successfully removed all the transformations from your OBJ file in Blender. Now you can export your clean and untransformed model for your 3D projects. Give it a try and let me know how it works for you. Happy modeling!
